Looks like you'll be able to slip behind that false elevator door once again.

Several outlets (including this week's issue of OW) reported that Pharmacy, the Dr. Phillips speakeasy-style bar and restaurant, had closed. The restaurant announced it would be closed briefly for renovations.

On Aug. 18, Scott Joseph's Restaurant Guide reported that the restaurant was in some economic trouble, and was unlikely to reopen. Joseph's source for the post said that Pharmacy had been in bankruptcy court and had been given a one-week extension to find an investor. Apparently, they found one.

Pharmacy announced on their Facebook page that they'd be returning to normal business hours starting at 5 p.m. on Aug. 31. We've reached out to the chef-owners, and will update this post with any comment they share.

To coin a phrase, we hope Pharmacy won't be "pulling an OLV" and will remain a craft cocktail mainstay in town.

Maybe they'll have the Corpse Reviver cocktail on special. (See what we did there?)
