China Town a mein attraction

Several years ago Wall Street Cantina replaced the last Chinese restaurant on Orange Avenue. But a few months ago China Town arrived to fill the need for cheap takeout downtown.

Located in the former digs of Cuoco Pazzo, China Town is small and crowded at lunchtime. The menu has a lengthy run-down of chow mein, seafood and vegetarian specials, and the buffet ($4.95-$5.95) offers a dozen or so quick picks such as "General Tso's chicken." If you don't mind waiting a few minutes, you can try the more exotic possibilities, made to order. For example, the "shrimp with almond ding" ($7.75) features cherries and an almond white sauce.

China Town is open on weekdays, and sometimes they're open evenings and weekends, too.
