Last season on Masterpiece’s period drama Downton Abbey, Sybil ran off with the chauffeur, Mr. Bates got locked up and Mary and Matthew kept right on staring shamelessly at one another in front of their intended spouses. It’s been a little slow, but don’t worry, the Christmas special PBS aired recently promises so much satisfying resolution that it just might make the whole sluggish second season worth it. But for diehard fans who just can’t wait, here’s an early Christmas present: WUCF plans to air a sneak preview of the first 60 minutes of the Season 3 premiere in the park, which is seriously an almost too apropos way to indulge in the return of the award-winning series. The full episode will air Jan. 6 on PBS, but it would be much more romantic to take a stroll with your sweetheart (or maybe your heart’s secret desire) in the quaint park setting. – Ashley Belanger
