'The Human Centipede III (Final Sequence)' gives you something to chew on at Enzian this weekend

Touting a 500-person daisy chain of ass-to-mouth prisoners as its main attraction, The Human Centipede III (Final Sequence) is clearly mistitled (500 inmates x 4 limbs per inmate = that’s a human millipede, dummies), but no one’s going to care. Maybe the cleverest thing about Dutch filmmaker Tom Six’s Human Centipede series is the way that each film becomes the inciting work of fiction of the next film. The seriously fucked-up parking garage attendant of The Human Centipede II (Full Sequence) is inspired to commit unspeakable acts by watching The Human Centipede (First Sequence), and now the prison administrators of the Final Sequence steal their idea for an incarceration solution that would make even Joe Arpaio blush from Full Sequence. So the original idea gets digested and passed out each time in a more vile form, just like – hm, we can’t think of an appropriate simile. Can you?
