The Pin Traders store in Disney World’s Spring Marketplace is reportedly selling a Black Panther pin that depicts the main character, T’Challa, as a white dude.
According to Disney Pins, a website completely devoted to tracking the pins at Disney parks, the latest Black Panther pin has some serious issues.
Clearly whoever designed this pin has no idea what the movie is about, and while we highly doubt this white-washed pin was made in Wakanda, many have speculated that this photo has been photoshopped.
However, this does not appear to be the case...
Orlando Weekly has reached out to Disney, and we'll update this post when more info is available.
Update: Ryan tells me the photos were not Photoshopped, but the lighting is much different.— Julia 💀 Alexander (@loudmouthjulia) January 7, 2018
