Shit Sandwich celebrates three years as Orlando's best stand-up showcase this Saturday

Several comedy showcases have sprung up around town in recent years, and while all of them have plenty to offer, our favorite is Shit Sandwich at the Bull & Bush. Maybe it's the intimate atmosphere, maybe it's the feeling of accomplishment if you manage to snag a booth, or maybe it's just the $3 Scotch egg, but there's something about the space that seems to get everyone in the room onboard with whoever's at the mic. Every first and third Saturday of the month, Ross McCoy of A Mediocre Time With Tom & Dan hosts short sets by some of the best local, regional and even touring comics.

This week, Shit Sandwich celebrates its third anniversary, making it one of the longest-running showcases in town. And there's a particularly strong lineup this week too, including local faves like Alex Luchun, Clayton Anderson, Ross Martin, Jimmy Gates, Marie George, Joe Chlapowski and Rauce Padgett. Get there early to grab a booth – seriously, it's the best – and be prepared for giveaways between sets.

Happy Birthday, Shit Sammy!
