Saturday, August 27 – Vinyl, Books and Food Trucks
It’s not the most creative name, but it’s certainly compelling – add cats and bacon and it could be a list of Orlando’s top five favorite things. The Audubon Park Garden District is taking over the parking lot in front of Park Ave CDs and setting up a little late-night market action: live music, food trucks, beer and tables full of books and records for your browsing and buying pleasure. (The shops in the plaza will also be open, as will Bikes, Beans & Bordeaux, Sushi Lola’s, Stardust and O! Stromboli if you’re not down with truck snacks or want to keep the shopping high buzzing.) What bands? Which food trucks? What kind of beer? We don’t know, and does it really matter? Just show up with some cash in your pocket. Bring your own cats and bacon. – Jessica Bryce Young (7 p.m.-midnight at Park Ave CDs, 2916 Corrine Drive; free admission; advance table rental $10; 407-590-8776)
