Selection Reminder: Neil Patrick Harris at Epcot!

Dec. 10-12Holidays Around the World – Candlelight Processional

When Neil Patrick Harris isn’t starring in his own sitcom, appearing in The Muppets and Harold and Kumar flicks, filling in for Regis Philbin on that morning show, spoofing himself in Old Spice commercials, hosting the Tony and Emmy awards (and winning some while he’s there), voice-acting in cartoons, preserving the craft of magic, raising two kids with his partner and, well, everything else in between simultaneously, he’s using his considerable clout to advocate for theme parks. Since he’s arguably the greatest showman of our day, let’s let him talk about this thing at Epcot that he’s doing (other guests on tap this month include Lorraine Bracco and Susan Lucci): “That’s a great gig,” he said of the Candlelight Processional on the Kevin Pollack Chat Show last year. “They have a big show where you tell the stories of Jesus. They have a full orchestra, two children’s choirs, the Disney employee choir and the Voices of Liberty are in front of you. You stand there at a lecturn and recite a passage and they all sing a song. It’s amazing.” We’re there, NPH. – Justin Strout (Candlelight processionals through Dec. 30; 5 p.m., 6:45 p.m., 8:15 p.m. at America Gardens Theatre, Epcot, Lake Buena Vista; included with park admission; 407-939-1289;
