Spring may come in like a lamb and out like a lion (or vice-versa) in other places, but in Central Florida, it’s more like spring comes while you were busy sneezing your face off and leaves before you even noticed. The pollen factories coat everything, including your poor sinuses, with a thin, yellow powder. The mercury sometimes swings as much as 40 degrees Fahrenheit in a single day. The public pools aren’t open yet. It’s kind of a pain. But if you spend too much time worrying about histamines, you’ll miss out on all of the festivals and parties that come along with spring. Whether it’s at the theme parks, in a Mills 50 parking lot or under the stars, there are plenty of activities to look forward to in the springtime. Especially once that Claritin kicks in. Gesundheit!
