Dustin Diamond takes a stab at comedy in Longwood on Friday

Dustin Diamond – formerly known as Screech from Saved by the Bell, currently known as that guy from Saved by the Bell who stabbed a guy in a bar fight – has been doing stand-up for several years now, and though his material hasn’t moved much past capitalizing on the novelty of seeing Screech talk dirty, he is pretty good at making a crowd feel comfortable and making them laugh. However, we’d be lying if we pretended our selection of his show is for any other reason than the fact that he just stabbed a guy in a bar fight. That is a story we want to hear. If you want to ask him any questions about it, though, you’ll have to spring for the VIP package, which includes a meet-and-greet. Sean Finnerty, a local Irish comic (long story) who also has a gift for crowd work, hosts the night, and Adam Avitable features.
