If New Year’s meant resolutions that you made and gave up on halfway through January, don’t fret. The Lunar New Year celebration gives you a perfect excuse to make more promises to yourself that you may or may not stick to. The most celebrated holiday in East Asia meets Central Florida when the Lunar New Year Festival celebrates the Year of the Dog with their annual Dragon Parade in Mills 50. The streets will be lined with people watching dancers hidden in dragon and lion costumes slithering down the street, and among the entertainers will be martial arts performers and taiko drummers. And of course, no celebration of Asian culture would be complete without plenty of food vendors.
