Disney's critically endangered Sumatran tiger cubs are finally here

Guests at Animal Kingdom can finally get a glimpse of these two adorable and critically endangered Sumatran tiger cubs, the first baby tigers ever born at Disney World.

Brother and sister Jeda and Anala were actually born last August, but made their big debut Wednesday, Dec. 13, as they're "slowly being introduced into their habitat" at the Maharajah Jungle Trek.

Disney made the big announcement on their official blog:
Our dedicated and highly trained team of animal care experts and veterinarians spent three years preparing for the birth of these Sumatran tigers and have worked tirelessly to provide them with the best possible care so they can grow and thrive. Part of this work included creating a special new backstage play area where the tiger cubs could learn to swim and climb before venturing into their habitat at Maharajah Jungle Trek.
