Livingston St. 407-849-2020 orlandovenues.net $45-$75 It’ll be 15 years this May since Seinfeld aired its last episode, and besides catching reruns on TBS, chances are you’ve stamped comedian Jerry Seinfeld with the “Where’d he go?” question mark. Some would say he’s been lurking in the Seinfeld shadows, surfacing in 2007 for a voice role in Bee Movie and a producing stint on the now-canceled reality TV show The Marriage Ref. But as a recent New York Times Magazine cover spread on Seinfeld described, the observational humorist spent the last decade or so focused on his stand-up comedy, appearing at low-key gigs in New York and perpetually crafting seamless punch lines. His latest venture, Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, a web series on Crackle.com where Seinfeld drives around in classic models, bantering with friends like Ricky Gervais and Alec Baldwin, was just picked up for a second season. In the very first episode of Season 1, over coffee with former Seinfeld producer Larry David, Seinfeld remarks, “Who can say what creates mood? Mood is a thing that’s just there. The only reason we know it’s there is because we feel it.” And with Seinfeld’s double-header stand-up tour stop in Orlando this weekend, we fully expect he’ll prompt that laugh-so-hard-it-hurts kind of feeling. – Aimee Vitek
