"Good evening, Pasadena!" Expect to hear an introduction along those lines, along with the soaring strings of "Pimpf," when touring Depeche Mode tribute act Strangelove hit town next month. From what we've seen, the Los Angeles band have the look and sound of Basildon's favorite sons down pat, and they play a set that goes from Speak and Spell all the way down the line to their most recent work. We'll take it.

Strangelove: the Depeche Mode Experience play some songs of faith and devotion at the Social on Friday, June 21, at 6 p.m. Tickets can be purchased here.
