Synth-pop '80s stars Information Society made their name on the strength of freestyling 1988 single "What's On Your Mind (Pure Energy)" but – unlike many of their peers on the singles charts of the time – kept going, touring and consistently releasing new albums. And Orlando fans will get an up-close chance to see how the band and their music has aged (and vice versa, c'mon now) with the recent announcement of Information Society's return to the Hard Rock Hotel's Velvet Sessions series in June.

2019 is a pretty good time to check back in with Information Society: The classic trio lineup is back firmly in place, and they've even returned to iconic label Tommy Boy with 2018 single "Nothing Prevails."

Information Society headline the Velvet Sessions at the Hard Rock Hotel on Friday, June 21 at 6:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased here.
