Now that Spooky Empire has turned traitor and is taking its convention over to Tampa, there’s only one con in town with real star-drawing power, and that’s MegaCon. This weekend, you can meet, greet and selfie with stars like best-ever Doctor-and-companion team David Tennant and Billie Piper (Doctor Who); Marty (Michael J. Fox), Doc (Christopher Lloyd), Lorraine (Lea Thompson), Biff (Tom Wilson) and Principal Strickland (James Tolkan) from Back to the Future; and even Shazam! star Zachary Levi. There’s also a Mickey Mouse Club (’90s version) 30-year reunion, hosted by Joey Fatone of *NSYNC. (Will Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Justin Timberlake, Ryan Gosling or Keri Russell show up? Would you?) And we haven’t even mentioned the bevy of comics creators, voice actors, cosplay stars, panels, workshops and more that round out the schedule. Plus, to the best of our knowledge, MegaCon hasn’t once caused a FunkoPop-related riot and then left town the next year. That kind of loyalty should be rewarded.

4-9 p.m. Thursday, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday-Saturday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday | Orange County Convention Center, 9800 International Drive | megaconorlando.com | $20-$429
