Amongst the upcoming group of artists announced for the May-June edition of the Atlantic Center for the Arts Master Artist Residency program is a name that's sure to be very exciting for fans of experimental music. The ACA is bringing in New York avant-garde composer Annie Gosfield to be a resident artist at the Center, but as part of their outreach mission, Gosfield will be playing a free show in Orlando in May!
The celebrated Gosfield has been famously described by the BBC as "a one woman Hadron Collider" and is a prolific, boundary-pushing musician just as comfortable composing for cello as for broken shortwave radios or vacuum cleaners. This one is not to be missed.
