The reference to Top Chef indicates that the Central Florida Top Brewer Festival is a bit more creative than most beer festivals. Each of the more than 30 participating breweries drew a random grain, hop strain and extra ingredient when they signed up, and each brewery must then brew a beer using those ingredients to serve at the festival. Taste their results – along with some of their staples – and vote on which brewery gets top honors.

1-5 p.m. Saturday; Lake Concord Park, 95 Triplet Lake Drive, Casselberry; $35-$40; centralfloridatopbrewer.com.
