Powerhouse local American Idol contestant Alyssa Raghu has got some serious momentum on her side in this year's season of the popular reality show, as she's now part of the Top 20 and moving on to the next round of competition.

The teenage singer from Lake Nona made a strong showing during last year's 16th season of the show, ending up in the top 24 before her elimination.

Check out Alyssa Raghu on the next episode of American Idol - airing Monday, April 8 - where she'll take part in the Celebrity Duet challenge (with a mystery partner) and try to move on to the Top 14.
