Sometimes a rando PR pitch isn't just inbox clutter. Sometimes it's exactly the thing you need to see as each successive national news story (climatechangewageequalitymichaeljacksonreproductiverightsbigpharma2020) makes you feel more and more like you swallowed a chunk of rancid pork.

That was the case with this frankly misdirected press release, one of many I received this morning. But this misdirected press release was different!

4cats Heimtierbedarf GmbH is a cat toy company based in Stolberg, Germany; the Hamerton Zoo and its Big Cats Enrichment Project are located in verdant Steeple Gidding, Cambrisgeshire, England. Orlando Weekly has neither a British nor a German news bureau; nor (sadly, tbh) do we feature a cats vertical, so this pitch was essentially useless to us.

None of this matters.

This video of tigers, leopards, cheetahs and various other felines capable of shredding the flesh off your bones instead romping in the grass with gigantic catnip toys is the joy we needed to keep going today. (It's a slow starter; you may want to skip ahead to about 30 seconds in.)

Do not send us evidence that 4cats or Hamerton Zoo are somehow evil or in any way participate in wrongdoing. JUST LET US HAVE THIS.
