Education Secretary Betsy DeVos, who is currently pushing to allow guns in schools, visited Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida on Wednesday, and apparently wasn't interested in taking questions from the students.

The Secretary met with a small handful of students and faculty in a meeting that was closed to the public and only lasted a little over an hour, reports CNN.

However, it appears that meeting didn't go so well, and she apparently wouldn't answer any questions from the school newspaper.
While DeVos did offer her condolences and lay a wreath on a fence, she didn't offer any real solutions to gun violence at schools other than defending Trump's position of adding more weapons to classrooms, which isn't surprising since she did once argue that grizzly bears are something schools should be armed to deal with.

Clearly her visit was more about just making an appearance than actually doing anything as Secretary of Education. Before her visit, DeVos tweeted what can only be interpreted as some sort of commercial for yogurt. So that's something.
