The country may be in a sorry state right now, but getting off the couch to get involved can often seem to be a joyless chore. So Lil Indies is teaming up with local progressive activist group Organize Florida (fka Organize Now) for a night of political activism that doesn’t make you change your normal Saturday routine. Along with a show by the rightfully acclaimed songwriter David Dondero, attendees can register to vote, buy some baked goods to help fund community outreach programs, or just talk to a representative and let them know what you want to see accomplished in the coming months. It seriously doesn’t get any easier than this.
