Sick of permafused couples determined to show everybody their affection and ardor via the exchange of gigantic anthropomorphic plush animals every year? Find your bitter kin at the Black Heart Social Club, the Will’s Pub version of an anti-Valentine’s Day party. No excessive hearts, irritating balloons or vexatious themed candy here – just affordable alcohol and pure emo classics from the Get Up Kids, Jimmy Eat World and Saves the Day. Come here to be lonely, and who knows – you might just go home with the miserable soul who completes you.

9 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14 | Will’s Pub, 1042 N. Mills Ave. | willspub.org | $10
