Orlando Police Department is reminding the public not to share child porn.

Posting to the department's Facebook page on Sunday morning, OPD reminded the public they shouldn't be sharing a video that has recently gone viral showing a small child being sexually exploited.

"We understand that people are sharing this because they mean well and want the person to be arrested, but anyone who shares this is unknowingly distributing child pornography, and that's a felony," said OPD.

The origin of the video has not yet been confirmed, but the department is working with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and law enforcement throughout the country to find the source of the post.

They advise anyone who does receive the video to immediately contact authorities.
