Lyft is offering half-priced rides from Orlando to watch the SpaceX Falcon Heavy launch

Lyft is offering half-off rides to see Elon Musk's sports car travel to space.

Tomorrow, Feb. 6, riders can receive 50 percent off their fare to or from Orlando to Cape Canaveral to view the SpaceX Falcon Heavy launch. Just use the discount code "LYFTOFFX."

As of now the launch is scheduled to occur on Tuesday, sometime between 1:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. The code expires on Wednesday, and can only be used when the drop-off or pickup location is set to Cape Canaveral.

While the rocket is the biggest and most powerful system SpaceX has ever built, the launch will also include a car being shot into space. According to Business Insider, SpaceX founder Elon Musk will be launching his red 2008 Tesla Roadster into Mars orbit. The purpose of the stunt is to demonstrate how the company in the near future might be able to help deliver people and other payloads into space.
