a fashion photographer who may have inadvertently captured a murder on film, and offers ample visual wallpaper of top birds like Veruschka, Jane Birkin, Sarah Miles and Vanessa Redgrave (right) in all her high-cheekboned glory; the milieu is all sideburns, Chelsea boots, miniskirts and casual misogyny. You could enjoy it just for the soundtrack, a swingin’ mix of blistering Herbie Hancock sessions with a couple of groovy Yardbirds and Lovin’ Spoonful tracks. (Bonus points if you catch the infectious track Deee-Lite sampled for “Groove Is in the Heart.”) Or, you could dig deep and look at what Antonioni has to say about identity and surveillance and drug-fueled paranoia, all topics worthy of explication today. But we won’t judge if you’re just there for the fun parts. Special thanks to Snap! Orlando and the Enzian for choosing a film that isn’t currently available on any of the major streaming services, giving everyone further impetus to get out of the house.
