Trump's private helicopter is using the Mar-a-Lago helipad, which is against the law

Last March, Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort was given permission by city officials to build a helipad that was only meant to be used to transport the president to his luxury golf resort via Marine One.

Well, as you can see, the Trump's corporate helicopter also likes to park on the helipad, which is a big no-no.
According to the Palm Beach Post, the Town Council is looking into the helicopter's appearance and use of the helipad over the holiday weekend at Mar-a-Lago.

The Town Council approved the construction of the helipad with the stipulation that it was "for business relating solely to the office of the President." The White House confirmed that the helicopter was not used for any official government business on Dec. 30.

"It was a private helicopter on the grounds of Mar-a-Lago," said Public Safety Director Kirk Blouin to the Post. "That in and of itself may be evidence of a violation of our town codes."

The city will now determine if indeed a violation has occurred and will then issue a written warning. Future violations will result in a citation and a required hearing with the Code Enforcement Board, which could then issue a possible fine.

The city-approved helipad was meant to help alleviate traffic between between Palm Beach International Airport and Mar-a-Lago. The Trump copter is co-owned by DT Connect II and DR Connect II Member Corp (where Eric and Donald Trump Jr. are executives).
