Now in its 50th year, the seventh-oldest collegiate bowl game in the nation presents a top-ranked matchup between the University of Notre Dame Fighting Irish (9-3) and the Louisiana State University Tigers (9-3). With Notre Dame’s hard-nosed offense lining up across from LSU’s chain-gang of a defense, it’s a matchup that’ll remain as much of an all-out war as it is one of the greatest traditions in all of college sports.
