More than 600 skimmers were found at Florida gas stations in 2017

Always pay inside, folks.

A new report from the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services shows that more than 600 card skimmers have been found at pumps across the state so far this year.

In total, 613 were reported this year, which is about three times as many found in 2016 when only 219 were reported in Florida.

Here in Orlando, 10 gas stations were reported to have gas skimmers:
- Cumberland Farms 100 N. Bumby Ave. (1 reported)
- 7-Eleven 8910 S. Orange Blossom Trail (1 reported)
- Semoran Food Mart/ Marathon 1 N. Semoran Blvd. (1 reported)
- Sunshine Express #185 LBV Chevron 13480 South Apopka Vineland Road (1 reported) 
- Colonial Plaza Station 2705 E. Colonial Drive (1 reported)
- GOTTA GO ON OBT / CITGO 12531 S ORANGE BLOSSOM TRL (2 reported)
- Superstop #401 5922 Turkey Lake Road (1 reported)
- GOTTA GO ON OBT / CITGO 12531 S ORANGE BLOSSOM TRL (1 reported)
- 2nd City Mobil 12748 State Road 535 (1 reported)
- Kangaroo #1227/ Valero 18359 E. Colonial Drive (3 reported)
