As part of World AIDS Day, take in a showing of Alternate Endings, Radical Beginnings on Sunday. The film, screening in the Orlando Museum of Art SunTrust Auditorium, is part of the annual Day With(out) Art, an observance of the disproportionate toll taken on the art world by the disease. This year, video works by Mykki Blanco, Cheryl Dunye & Ellen Spiro, Reina Gossett, Thomas Allen Harris, Kia LaBeija, Tiona Nekkia McClodden and Brontez Purnell seek to center black narratives within the AIDS crisis; in 2016, African-Americans represented 44 percent of all new HIV diagnoses in the United States. After the screening, stay for an audience talkback with Sam Graper, community relations manager at Orlando Immunology Center. – Jessica Bryce Young

Sunday, Dec. 3 | 1:30 p.m. | SunTrust Auditorium, Orlando Museum of Art, 2416 N. Mills Ave. | 407-896-4231 | omart.org | free
