Finally, a stairway to heaven the rock gods can be proud of.

As part of a (much) larger $ 1.5 billion expansion of their Hollywood location, Seminole Hard Rock announced plans to open a new, eye-catching 450-foot "guitar tower" in 2019.

Already a centerpoint in Hard Rock's global casino empire, the Hollywood-area hotel's planned expansion will nearly double its size: 3,267 slot machines, 178 table games, an 18,000 p-square-foot poker room, plus more space for rooms, retail, restaurants, and a rebuilt Live venue with 7,000 seats, PR Newswire reports.

And in the guitar tower itself? There'll be 638 luxury hotel rooms, a 41,000-square-foot spa, plus restaurants, lounges and a business center. Not to mention the 10-acre pool complex sitting at its base.

In a statement, Seminole Tribe Chairman Marcellus Osceola Jr. said, "Our ancestors and elders welcomed curious tourists to our Florida reservations, and today's members of the Seminole Tribe of Florida will soon welcome visitors from all over the world to what will become a landmark destination."
