Tough week, right? You just faced down the extended family gauntlet, explaining and justifying the myriad of (probably bad) life choices you made. Sure would be nice for a quick blast of supercharged adrenaline from your (or somebody else’s) youth to kinda remind you why you fucked it all up in the first place. Oh happy day! Pioneering Cali hardcore band Battalion of Saints are storming into Bombshell’s Tavern (!!) ready for a good ol’ metalheads vs. punx showdown. We kid, but BOS circa 2017 is still a ferocious live presence, with perennial frontman George Anthony leading the charge. Their debut album, The Second Coming, still holds up with the best of first-wave hardcore, and you’re sure to hear a good portion of it. Fair warning.
