Leave Dapper Day to the muggles at Disney – witches, wizards, squibs and all magical folk in between will be dressed in their vintage best this weekend for “Dressed to the 9 3/4s” event at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, sponsored by the Central Florida Slug Club. While not as nerve-wracking as a Yule Ball, you’re still going to want a Slytherin-themed flapper costume, a wand and enough energy to laugh at all the Hufflepuffs in poodle skirts. We’re kidding, of course, in the spirit of healthy competition, but be aware that winners of the best moving painting will win points for their House.

11 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 12 | The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, 6000 Universal Blvd. | facebook.com/dressedtothe934 | price of admission
