Bella Vista Baptist Church over in Edgewater found itself the butt of jokes on the internet after a picture of their sign made the rounds. According to News4Jax, the sign, which read, "Forgiveness is swallowing when you want to spit," was "completely innocent," according to unnamed representatives from the church.

Meanwhile, everyone else who saw the sign assumed it was about blowjobs. The church says that it was "intended as encouragement to forgive," and we wholeheartedly agree with their preferred method of forgiveness. If your mind – like ours – resides in the gutter permanently, don't worry: We forgive you. ;-)
