City of Orlando releases 'Fun Spot' Lake Eola commercial

Posted By on Mon, Oct 23, 2017 at 12:42 PM

The City of Orlando's official Twitter released a Fun Spot parody video dedicated to Downtown Orlando's Lake Eola Park, and "it's huuuuge!"

The video, which was released Oct. 22, is based on the kitschy format made popular by the well-known Fun Spot commercials. However, instead of John Arie Jr. we get Greenwood Cemetery's longtime sexton Don Price screaming "It's huuuuge!" as he showcases the fountain, the mile-long walkway path, and other park features. The clip even mimics the Fun Spot logo. *Slow clap.*

Here's a classic Fun Spot ad for reference...

No word yet on when or if the city will attempt to mimic Appliance Direct commercials anytime soon.
