Comics nerds are probably already anticipating Marvel Legacy, a 50-page one-shot that’s set to establish a new status quo in the Marvel Universe. The folks over at A Comic Shop and the Geek Easy have staged a real coup, though, bringing in the writer of Marvel Legacy, Jason Aaron, in for a party the night of the release. Buy a copy and he’ll sign it, along with whatever back issues of Scalped, Doctor Strange, Star Wars or whatever else he’s written that you bring in. And if you buy him a beer, he might even drink it with you too.

6 p.m. Wednesday; The Geek Easy, 114 S. Semoran Blvd., Winter Park; free; mygeekeasy.com
