Relive the horrors of your awkward teen angst with the cast of Sixteen Candles this fall at Spooky Empire. The thriller convention will feature Molly Ringwald, Anthony Michael Hall, and John and Joan Cusack.

Spooky Empire will also celebrate the 30th anniversary of the film The Lost Boys, with guests Jamison Newlander, Billy Wirth, and G Tom Mac.

This year, doors will open earlier than usual – the fest starts noon Friday, Oct. 27, at the Hyatt Regency Orlando, and runs through Sunday, Oct. 29.

Returning thriller fans will find new activities like Special FX makeup classes, an enhanced kids zone, and a charity casino night. Other events include a film festival, a cosplay contest, live music and performances, as well as Q & A sessions with artists, filmmakers, and authors.

Tickets are now on sale and are discounted, with increased pricing after Oct. 8 and at the door.

Three-day passes are $60, while one-day passes for Friday and Sunday are $30 and Saturday passes are priced at $35.

As always, VIP packages are available and children under 10 years old attend for free.
