Here's a list of some Orlando businesses open post-Irma

If you've tried to physically fight the heat swamping your home right now, it's probably time to get some extra supplies, snacks and air-conditioning for your soul.

As you venture out, you may see some trees and power lines on the road or traffic lights that don't work. Remember to avoid any debris and treat an intersection without a working light as a four-way stop.

Now on to the businesses! Here's a list of metro Orlando shops, restaurants, bars and gas stations that we know are currently open:

RESTAURANTS:

Valkyrie Doughnuts, 12226 Corporate Blvd., Orlando. Valkyrie has normal hours, though it's cash only. There's no internet, but plenty of A/C and phone chargers.

KrungThep Tea Time, 1051 W. Fairbanks Ave., Winter Park. KrungThep is open for its normal hours.

Zaza New Cuban Diner, Waterford Lakes and Altamonte locations are open as well as MCO counter. Curry Ford location is still without power.

Seito Sushi, 4898 New Broad St., Orlando; also 8031 Turkey Lake Road, Orlando. Both the Baldwin Park location and the Sand Lake location are open today, but check for differing hours.

Waffle House, multiple locations. Find your closest location here.

Anthony’s Thornton Park, 100 N. Summerlin Ave., Orlando. Normal business hours on Tuesday.

Austin’s Coffee, 929 W. Fairbanks Ave., Winter Park. Free WiFi and reportedly a "shining light in the darkness."

The Stubborn Mule, 100 S. Eola Drive, Orlando. This business opens today at 11 a.m., though its owners anticipate it could get very busy.

Krispy Kreme, multiple locations. Check out the hours of your local shop on Facebook. Both the Winter Park location and the Millenia location are open.

Pepe's Cantina, 433 W. New England Ave., Winter Park. Join Pepe's for its Taco Tuesday special.

RusTeak at College Park, 2625 Edgewater Drive, Orlando. This restaurant opens Tuesday at 11 a.m., though its owners anticipate a busy day.

Hamburger Mary's, 110 W. Church St., Orlando. Hamburger Mary's is open for business at 11 a.m. and bingo at 6:30 p.m.

Black Rooster Taqueria, 1323 N. Mills Ave., Orlando. Opens at 5 p.m. for Taco Tuesday. No internet or phones are working, so in-house dining is the only option.

Eden's Fresh opened their Winter Park, Thornton Park and downtown locations today. Longwood, possibly tomorrow.

Reel Fish Coastal Kitchen + Bar, 1234 N. Orange Ave., Winter Park. The high-end fish-camp-style seafood restaurant is open for regular service hours — including happy hour from 4-7 p.m. with $1 oysters and $4 draft beers and wells.

Wall Street Cantina, 19 N. Orange Ave., Orlando. The downtown Mexican restaurant opened for lunch at 11 a.m. and Taco Tuesday specials start at 2 p.m.

White Wolf Café, 1829 N. Orange Ave., Orlando. The longtime Ivanhoe Village favorite opened at 8 a.m. today and has resumed regular hours.

Brio Tuscan Grille at Winter Park Village and Millenia are open, as well as Bravo Cucina Italiana at the Dellagio.

Antonella's Pizzeria, 360 W. Fairbanks Ave., WInter Park, is open for business but doesn't have phone service, so you'll need to drop in to place your order and pick up.

Tom + Chee, 12531 FL-535 are now open and operating with regular business hours.

BARS:

The Hammered Lamb, 1235 N. Orange Ave., Orlando. Open for normal business hours.

Lion's Pride, 123 W. Church St., Orlando. This pub says activities should have resumed at its business by Tuesday.

Rogue Pub, 3076 Curry Ford Road, Orlando. This bar reopened at noon on Monday.

The Hideaway Bar, 516 Virginia Drive, Orlando, reopened after curfew Monday night. They have power which means cold beer and drinks, but food may be limited.

Sportstown Billiards, 2414 E. Robinson St., Orlando. The Milk District mainstay will be open regular hours.

GAS STATIONS:

Wawa, multiple locations. Check this list to see if your nearest Wawa is open Tuesday.


STORES:

Publix, multiple locations. Publix has put together a list of all its grocery stores in Florida by city. Many are open, though some have adjusted hours. Check for your local Publix in the list here.

Walmart, multiple locations. Some Walmart stores will close or adjust hours of operation due to the impact of Irma. Check this list to see where your area store stands or visit your local Walmart's Facebook page to see its status and hours of operation. Stores marked "recovery" on the list are in the process of being reopened.

Target, multiple locations. Many Target locations around Florida are closed as of Tuesday morning according to a list put out by the company, but make sure to check it throughout the day for any updates.

Home Depot, multiple locations. Check a list of Florida stores here for openings.

Lowe's, multiple locations. All local Lowe's stores should be open, but check this list for operating hours.

PLACES TO HANG:

The Mall at Millenia, 4200 Conroy Road, Orlando. Millenia opens at 10 a.m. on Tuesday.

The Florida Mall, 8001 S. Orange Blossom Trail, Orlando. The Florida Mall re-opens Tuesday at 10 a.m., though individual retailers will determine when they will open. Visit shopfloridamall.com for more retailer information.

Orlando Science Center, 777 E. Princeton St., Orlando. General admission and special programming will resume Tuesday.

Winter Park Public Library, 460 E. New England Ave., Winter Park. The library has cool air, outlets and free WiFi.

Orange County Library System. The whole system should be open by Thursday – check at ocls.info – but some branches will be open Wednesday:

  • Southwest Branch
  • Winter Garden Branch
  • West Oaks Branch
  • Eatonville Branch
  • Washington Park Branch
  • Alafaya Branch
  • Chickasaw Branch
  • South Creek Branch
  • South Trail Branch

Enzian Theater, 1300 S. Orlando Ave., Maitland. There's still no internet, but Enzian Theater is open. Cash is the only currency currently accepted and thee is limited food service.
