City of Orlando waives fees in some covered parking garages during Hurricane Irma

If you do not have access to covered parking and are looking to shelter your car during the storm, city of Orlando officials can help.
Parking fees will be waived at some city-owned parking garages from 8 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, through 8 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12 (dependent on weather and road conditions).
Downtown garages where residents may park during Hurricane Irma are as follows:
Central Boulevard Garage
53 W. Central Blvd.
Orlando, FL 32801
Jefferson Street Garage
62 W. Jefferson St.
Orlando, FL 32801
Orange County Administration Garage
300 Liberty Ave.
Orlando, FL 32801
Library Garage
112 E. Central Blvd.
Orlando, FL 32801
Centroplex 1
441 Revere St.
Orlando, FL 32801
All cars should be removed by 8 a.m. Tuesday, unless weather conditions make it impossible.
