Shake 'N Bass gets a new home just in time for its fifth anniversary

Shake N Bass, the renowned Sunday night dance party famous for launching the career of dearly departed DJ Big Makk, has moved from Backbooth to the V Group’s Vintage Lounge, giving up elbow room for more luxe accommodations. But what’s a good Shake N Bass party without getting uncomfortably close to a sweaty stranger, right?

9 p.m. Sunday; Vintage Lounge, 114 S. Orange Ave.; free-$10;
