Posted By on Tue, Aug 1, 2017 at 1:26 PM

Today, Disney Imagineers completed the track for the Slinky Dog Dash roller coaster in Hollywood Studios' Toy Story Land, giving fans of the films more reason to get excited for the new land's Summer 2018 opening.

According to the Disney Parks blog, Disney Imagineers are celebrating the milestone of laying the last piece of track today in the family ride that will take guests along the curves and dips of Slinky Dog's coils.

Upon entering Toy Story Land, guests will explore the toys and attractions Andy has set up in his backyard using his Mega Coaster Play Kit and can expect to see Buzz, Woody, and other characters from the film along the way.

Slinky Dog Dash and Alien Swirling Saucers are the two named attractions in Toy Story Land, which will also include a carnival-themed expansion of the current Toy Story Mania! attraction, where guests take aim at 3D objects in the Toy Story Midway Games Play Set.
