Wondermade, our very own little marshmallow company that's been featured as far and wide as the Martha Stewart show and the New York Times, is expanding its Sanford brick-and-mortar — doubling it, in fact.

In the new section of the store, you'll find a vegan ice cream bar with flavors like watermelon-mint (gimme) and cookie butter. It'll be available by the pint, scoop and you can ship to anywhere in the U.S. so your friends and family outside Central Florida won't miss out on the fun.

They're also launching a creation called the "s'moresicle." It's just what you might imagine: a pudding pop rolled in crushed graham cracker with a toasted Wondermade marshmallow on top.

As confectioners rush to make ice cream sandwiches out of pretty much every baked good imaginable (locally, we've seen ice cream sandwiches made from donuts and macarons), the hubs-and-wife duo at Wondermade is pioneering the Krispwich: ice cream sandwiched between two Rice Krispies treats.

Ever wanted to learn to make some of these treats? With the new expansion, Wondermade will have space for workshops as well as parties. I know where I'm celebrating my fifth 29th birthday next year.

214 E. First St., Sanford
