Easter weekend is among the most popular of eating holidays, and not just for copious amounts of sugar, though we wouldn't blame you for that.

Plenty of restaurants are already busy setting up for their Easter brunches and prix fixe menus, and here are seven – six for dinner, one for dessert – to visit if that leg of lamb just isn't going to cook itself.

Canvas Restaurant & Market is celebrating Easter with brunch on two days – chef Bryan Thoman is famously fond of working brunch service, so we'll postulate this was his idea: brunch both Saturday, April 15, and Easter Sunday, April 16, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. On Sunday, Canvas will host a kid-friendly egg hunt, and the Easter Bunny will visit each table from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Ethos Vegan Kitchen is hosting a veg-friendly Easter brunch from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday. The menu is available online, and unfortunately, reservations aren't a thing unless your party has eight or more.
