These people are already waiting in line for tomorrow's Star Wars Celebration

Posted By on Wed, Apr 12, 2017 at 3:34 PM

This year's Star Wars Celebration at the Orange County Convention Center is in fact a pretty big deal, so much so that fans are lining up a day early to get into panels.

So, why are these people pitching a tent over this year's convention? Well, it's the 40th anniversary of the original 1977 release of Star Wars, as well as the upcoming release of the second film in the latest trilogy, Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Also, pretty everyone will be there, including company president and executive producer Kathleen Kennedy, The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson, and Luke Skywalker himself, Mark Hamill.

Still though, people will end up sleeping on the floor for a chance to get into the 40th anniversary panel. May the force be with you all.

The four straight days of panels, screenings, droids, workshops, shows, and exhibits starts tomorrow, April 13, and goes through Sunday, April 16. Tickets start at $75.
