Florida woman films 16 baby gators parading through her backyard

Despite their fearsome reputations, alligators actually have some of the cutest babies in the animal kingdom.

Proving this, one Florida woman filmed a mother alligator and her reptilian brood of tiny infants on video parading across her backyard near a Charlotte County golf course.

In a Facebook post, Sharon Whitling writes that an alligator spent all day Monday, April 3, moving her 16 tiny dinosaur look-alikes into a nearby pond, leading the pipsqueaks like a mother duck leading her ducklings.

It's currently gator mating season, so more gator families have been popping up around the Central Florida area.

Mother alligators are known to be vicious if approached, so if you spot any gators on family trips, it's best to give them their space.
