The multitalented Jennifer Medina hasn’t been seen around Orlando for a while (last time we saw her was when her band Colorsphere played at Stardust with Moon Jelly). But Time Waste Management, the art collective behind A Place Gallery, has brought her back into the fold with this one-night-only show of her photographs and videos. Medina, a Venezuelan-born artist, has lived recently in both Los Angeles and New York, and her work reflects the bicoastal bright young things she runs with – candy-colored, dreamy images of gorgeous humans in the flush of youth (like those pictured above), partying, meditating, trying on and casting off various versions of themselves. This show is your only local chance to sneak a peek into her visual diary and maybe even meet Medina herself.

8-11 p.m. Thursday, July 28 | A Place Gallery & Studios, 649 N. Mills Ave. | timewastemanagement.org | free
