Sister resto Taverna Opa has experienced such success with their wine dinner series that Spanish tapas spot Tapa Toro, helmed by LCB-Orlando graduate Wendy Lopez, is launching "Sabor," a wine dinner series of their own.

The dinners will show off the kitchen's Spanish prowess with five courses made from ingredients imported from the Iberian peninsula, as well as wines from regions across Spain.

The first dinner in the series starts at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 9, and each dinner will set you back $49 (not including tax and gratuity), which comes out to about $10 per dish. Make reservations here.

If the wine dinner doesn't fit within your budget, we'd still urge you to get out to the restaurant and try the week-old new menu rolled out on May 30. You'll find classics like pulpo al gallego, a cold tapa of sliced grilled octopus sprinkled with smoked paprika and scattered with confit potatoes, and stuffed piquillo peppers (shown, above) with ground beef and Marcona almonds.
