Expanding on the boozy Sunday offerings of the Uncomfortable Brunch film series, Will's Pub starts a similar concept for fans of comedy this week. The Shady Brunch Comedy Show, hosted by Shaw Smith, is scheduled for every fourth Sunday of the month to bring some of the area's best comedic talents to the day-drinking crowd. This inaugural edition features a strong lineup, comprised of Heather Shaw, Alex Luchun, Ross McCoy, Mike Charette, Ian Vanieer and Tim Murphy. The $5 cover also includes a complimentary mimosa or Bloody Mary to get your laughing muscles lubed up. Plus, if you get too tipsy and need something healthy to soak up some of the mimosa in your belly, the Vegan Hot Dog Cart will be on hand to help sober you up without pumping you full of nitrates.

3 p.m. Sunday, May 22 | Will's Pub, 1042 N. Mills Ave. | willspub.org | $5
