Garage-sale hunting usually starts with you looking for a vintage-chic vanity with a distressed finish, but somehow, you end up buying those bedazzled decorative pillows that you know damn well don't match your couch. If you're looking for a good bargain and don't want to waste a Saturday morning, check out the People's Community Garage Sale by Organize Now. Aside from cool furniture and household item finds, the community organization is also holding a raffle and fish fry, and the proceeds help send the nonprofit's members to the People's Convention in Pittsburgh to discuss social justice initiatives with activists from across the country. Sounds like a sweet deal to us.
