If you haven't noticed, the International Drive area has been dishing out some pretty good grub recently, including Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse, Tapa Toro, Itta Bena and other openings that have turned the historically avoided tourist trap on its gridlocked head.

This weekend, the Megacomplex-That-Could, Pointe Orlando, is hosting an afternoon of live music, food and beverage tastings to benefit Elevate Orlando, a charity dedicated to helping urban youth excel in academics and prepare them for life after high school.

Restaurants on deck include:
Adobe Gila's
Copper Canyon Grill
Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar
Funky Monkey Bistro & Bar
Itta Bena Contemporary Southern
Maggiano's Little Italy
Taverna Opa
Tommy Bahama's Restaurant & Bar

Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 at the door.
